Eat Cook Grow is part of the Brighton and Hove Food Partnership‘s 10th Birthday celebrations, who are hosting a foodie marquee at the Food Festival market on Hove Lawns this September.
For the event the food partnership organised a series of engaging, interactive “plot to plate” foodie experiences. Featuring cookery demos, harvest displays of local seasonal fruits and vegetables, and lessons in how to grow your own food.
I was asked to design all the Banners and informational displays as well as print media and stickers for the event.
After a very late install and a lot of logistics the AVM window has gone live, here is a sneak peek, of both the window and the T-shirt.
I have been asked by my very talented Friend Tasha Marks, founder of AVM Curiosities, to help her create a limited edition T shirt design and window display as Part of the Selfridges Bright young Things Awards 2013.
Launching on the 31st August AVM will be presenting an ‘Edible Cabinet of Curiosity’ celebrating themes of food, art and History.
I have been working hard this month, on the run up to my good friends Pip and Robs Big Day.
I was very kindly asked by the couple to help style and dress their wedding in the beautiful grounds at Burling Mannor, East Sussex, England.
Pip had a very clear idea of what she wanted and asked me to create table settings based on the theme swallows and amazons, her favorite childhood book. The tables we covered in white linen and beautiful vintage lace table cloths, topped with bespoke, handmade boxes covered in the Swallows and Amazons maps. I then dressed the boxes with hand tied bunches of flowers, a copy of the book, small boats, and ginger beer bottles which i redesigned to feature their names, and the date.
I also dressed the card table, make a door screen for the back of the stage from old doors painted in Pips chosen colours and helped dress the rest of the venue with an array of themed props and flowers.
